album update

so i thought the record was done.
its not.

but it almost is.

i really have no clue as too when its going to be released tho. but. ive been a lazy ass damn kid the past couple months, well. not really cos ive been recording everything in history. but as far as shows go, ive been a lazy ass kid.

so coming winter, its time to get down to business. its time for some house shows, people. cmon!

ive got a lot of shit too do. heres a small list.

make a learning lab website.
make a factorize/divide website (you aint no nothin bout that)
get a typewriter ribbon for my grandmas old typewriter
make t-shirts
get archetypes back together and record all shit!!
work out (great)
go to school (fuck)
figure out life
wake up before 2pm
rerecord narwhals in control, sameboy.

anyway. im excited. my life is changing here soon so that will be nice.

also, ive made the desicion that anything i do, musically, life, or anything. even if its under a different name, is going to go in this here blog. (i know ive said that before. but this time its happening. im a changed man i promise) or when i get the learning lab website set up itll go there. so i hope yall like to read this shit.

but up and out where i cant even speak, or move, or breathe, and thats all right with me, cos at least ill get some sleep..

the death of auto tune

its done!
and theres no auto-tune!

im afraid im not going to be able to put it up for download, cos this thing is legit. no more demos. this is the album, son.

but the good news is that if you are in the same vicinity as me ill listen to it with you. so theres that.

other good news: all the songs from the demos are getting remade and released as singles. maybe. i havnt really decided yet. but thats the game plan. and hopefully those will be free dl baby. their definitely getting remade tho.

some words about the record:
i dont think ive ever been more proud and just like "wow. i made that. how?" in my life.
i recorded it in 3 days. but took a break on day 2. sooo. it took me about 2 days work and lack of sleep to record all this.
me and uncle daddy are teamin up to make factorize/divide go places other than graham street.
no auto tune!
i recorded everything on a tascam dp 004 four track from my sampler and just kept bouncing the tracks to layer em.
im completely freaked right now cos its been exporting from my fourtrack for about 10 years. great.
its 30 - 2 minutes long. give or take some ticks.

cant wait to get the ball rollin.

just finished up recording all samples for the record. its taking me two cards this time around. oh shit! im really really physched on basicly all the songs i got. i dont really know what the finished product will sound like. right now its just a bunch of partly started songs that will hopefully end up being a coherent album thru and thru. thats my goal anyway. it shouldnt be to long.
